The biggest celebration of The KingTM in the Southern Hemisphere, the 2019 Parkes Elvis™ Festival, has just announced US Elvis Tribute Artist, Ted Torres Martin, as the 2019 Feature Artist.
The multi-talented musician is set to perform four spectacular tribute shows at the Parkes Leagues Club for the Festival’s 2019 Feature Concert Series.
Hailing from Orlando, Florida, Ted Torres Martin has been captivating audiences worldwide for over 17 years and has toured numerous countries including the Norway, Germany, Austria, Hong Kong and Singapore. His portrayal of the The King is widely considered one of the best in the world, winning him countless awards as well as being named Top Tribute two years in a row by Elvis Presley Enterprises.
On Thursday 10 January, Ted will begin his musical journey through the key eras of Elvis’ career with The Hill Billy Cat: The Making of a King (1955-1958). Friday 11 January will let fans re-live Elvis’ iconic comeback show in If I Can Dream: The Greatest Comeback Of All Time (1968). Saturday 12 January will explore his final years with My Way: A Journey Through the 70s. To celebrate this year’s theme of All Shook Up, Ted will wrap the Festival with All Shook Up: The King at His Best. He will be backed by an impressive Elvis band.
The 2019 Parkes Elvis Festival program is filled to the brim with more than 150 unique Elvis-themed events that are sure to get you all shook up. The program includes much loved events; the headline Feature Concert Series, Northparkes Mines Street Parade, Renewal of Vows Ceremony, free ARTC Cooke Park Main Stage Entertainment, Elvis Gospel Service, and much more!
