STC PHONE THANK YOUS RECEIVE GENEROUS. RESPONSE

Some arts  venues  have called in financial administrators to assist in their funding woes.

There is better news for the Sydney Theatre Company when Chairwoman of its Board Gretel Packer announced that the “challenge ahead of us is daunting but doable…The Company has strong cash reserves…”

‘No Way?No Pay?’ has been cancelled but ‘The Picture Of Dorian Gray’ is set to play later in the year.

To thank donors who continue to support the Company some of acclaimed actors have phoned patrons who opted to donate back to the Company the value of their tickets.

This has appears to be a great success as patrons who admire these actors from afar  are ecstatic when they receive a personal call from one of their loved thespians

One ticket holder was so delighted when Heather Mitchell, STC actress and Board Member, rang her they instantly made a $5,000 donation.
