This month's line up includes

DEREB THE AMBASSADOR, SATURDAY 4 AUGUST: Drawing on Afro-beat and 60’s and 70’s funk, eight-piece Ethio-soul outfit Dereb The Ambassador captures the distinctly vintage sound of Dereb’s native homeland during its “Golden Age of Soul”. Tonight, they launch their new album “Ethiopia”.  See Dereb in action on YouTube

SYDNEY WOMEN’S JAZZ COLLECTIVE, MONDAY 20 AUGUST:  Powerhouse home-grown big band The Sydney Women’s Jazz Collective continue their monthly residency showcasing specially commissioned Australian works by some of Australia's leading female jazz composers including Andrea Keller, Jenna Cave, Ellen Kirkwood and more.

THE MARRAKESH CLUB, THURSDAY 30 AUGUST: World music, gypsy, jazz and soul meet at The Marrakesh Club. James Brown, Buena Vista Social Club and Sade is fused with global sounds from Egypt, Latin America, Italy and Poland. 

Foundry 616 [Facebook] has live music from Monday to Saturday and weekly food and beverage specials including Friday night Happy Hours (5-7pm), Sydneysiders can drop in to catch a gig or explore the authentic Southern menu and cocktails with a dinner/show tickets available Thursday to Saturday.
