SHORT AND SWEET THEATRE – 2024 SYDNEY WEEK FOUR @ TURNER HALL THEATRE

SHORT AND SWEET SYDNEY THEATRE FESTIVAL – 2024 WEEK FOUR @ TURNER HALL THEATRE

S+S SYDNEY 2024 Heat #4

The world’s biggest short play festival is back in Sydney.

SHORT AND SWEET Sydney 2024 aims to focus on new and unique ideas with an added emphasis on spotlighting the individual writers behind their works and their process.

Short+Sweet 2024 is a celebration of play writing, plus the creation of original theatre.

Over 70 plays feature in the span of just eight weeks, all are competing for a spot in the Gala Finals, where we award the best of the best.

Range of brand new works brought to the forefront, sharp comedies, existential dramas, surreal horror, poetry, musical, political and inspirational narratives drive the eight week season.

Prizes being awarded weekly (at each Sunday show), dedicated programs spotlighting some of the brightest creatives in the community, and a new award category for works that have a truly unique concept.
