Bookings are now open for what promises to be a truly magnificent Gala Concert, featuring some of Australia’s most prominent opera singers.

This stunning production will comprise the entire Act II of Johann Strauss II’s beloved operetta DIE FLEDERMAUS.

The party at Prince Orlofsky’s Palace traditionally allows productions to insert a variety of additional entertainment acts and artists. An extended concert scene within the party will feature a truly incredible line-up of opera superstars, including international and Australian Opera stars Barry Ryan OAM, Dr Anke Hoeppner-Ryan, and (for one performance only ​on Sunday 20th November), Daniel Sumegi.

In addition, we will have four young, emerging opera singers, along with several of our recent very talented principals (in the Die Fledermaus roles), supported by the wonderful ROC ensemble.

The stage will be beautifully set and singers will be accompanied by repetiteurs Jamie-Lee Xu (Nov 19th) and Ashly Zhang (Nov 20th) at the on-stage grand piano, along with the amazing Ingrid Sakurovs for the concert scene.

This will be a fun-filled production with some of the most beautiful music ever composed. You will leave the theatre with those infectious Strauss waltzes running through your head and no doubt be humming them for days!

There will only be two performances of DIE FLEDERMAUS, one on Saturday 19th November and the other on Sunday 20th November, both at Rockdale Town Hall.
