OCTOBER by Ian Wilding . The debut production for UNDA Theatre Society.
This dark comedy follows Tim, an airline pilot and Angela, his young, beautiful wife, who live the successful urban dream in a streamlined apartment in the inner city. One night a friend of Angela’s, Dez, pays them a visit. There’s just one problem: Angela flatly denies she’s ever met him. With the help of private eye Dick, the couple try to get to the bottom of this absurd situation.
This play is on the NSW HSC Drama list and is known for it’s edgy uncomfortableness, non sequiturs and stylistic theatricality. It’s also a chance to see a new company launch. UNDA is at the University of Notre Dame, Sydney .
