First Nations CULTURES @ THE AUSTRALIAN MUSEUM

This January, the Australian Museum is offering Sydneysiders the opportunity to reflect and connect with First Nations cultures through a series of special events, alongside the award-winning First Nations led exhibition, Unsettled.

Activities taking place throughout January include free First Nations film screenings on 26 January, guided tours of the AM’s ground-breaking Unsettled exhibition and on 22 January, the giants of First Nations activism will be honoured by the next generation of trailblazers in a talk series called Children of the Revolution.

Plus, Nights at the Museum, the AM’s free after-hours events series has returned to present a weekly line-up of night-time entertainment, featuring a special pop-up bar and lounge area, live music and activities. On 27 January, celebrate the last night of the Unsettled exhibition with a special Nights at the Museum event featuring music from acclaimed violinist and recent recipient of the Sidney Myer Fellowship, Eric Avery.
