Immerse yourself in curiosity as local artists and scientists transform The Joan’s atrium foyer into a dynamic, innovative, social space where art and science collide to challenge what we already know, inspiring us to know more.

Curious? invites you to investigate the place where art and science merge as you uncover a diverse program of playful interventions, reflective installations and facets of science that arouse the curiosities of both fields.

Each month from April to July, a scientific theme will be explored through interactive art installations varied through sound, digital projection, animation, photography and sculpture in a creative space that will be inspiring and entertaining.

Fragile (16 April - 7 May): Sustainability, biodiversity, climate change, urban environments

Code (7 May - 28 May): Impacts of DNA technology and genetic engineering

Threat (28 May - 18 June): Challenges behind space travel, the unbound hostility of space

Gore (18 June - July): Disease, medical and surgical advances

Curious?  in the Foyer of The Joan [Facebook] is a free public program supported by Inspiring Australia and presented by the Nepean Science Hub [Facebook]  in partnership with Penrith City Council and Sydney Science Park.
