COME YOU SPIRITS – SHAKESPEARE inside THE COAL LOADER @ WAVERTON

Once in your lifetime, you must see these highly entertaining COME YOU SPIRITS productions, of these two tragedy plays by WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE. Most especially when performed inside the magical space that is THE COAL LOADER in WAVERTON. YES it is possible to perform these two plays, each play with only a cast of four actors, with each actor only as the one character. To achieve this seemingly impossible task, with Romeo & Juliet plus Macbeth, then you need to cast these magnificent four actors – Alec Ebert, Charles Mayer, Jo Bloom, Sontaan Hopson.

With this greatly reduced cast, SHAKESPEARE is lucidly and magnificently performed, and it needs to be mentioned that many of the unseen characters are talked about, plus those necessary actions usually taken by those unseen characters, do still happen when they need to happen (i.e. in the The Scottish Play, such as the loud knocking on the door to wake up The Porter). All the important events, all happen within each performance, with a duration of around eighty minutes. Minimalized cast, delivers maximumized SHAKESPEARE. Highly Recommended.

Alec Ebert – Romeo in Romeo & Juliet plus Macduff in Macbeth

Charles Mayer – Friar in Romeo & Juliet plus Macbeth in Macbeth

Jo Bloom – Nurse in Romeo & Juliet plus Lady Macbeth in Macbeth

Sontaan Hopson – Juliet in Romeo & Juliet plus The Witch in Macbeth

Brandon Read – Music and Sound – has composed two new magnificent soundscape experiences for SHAKESPEARE, with music designed to provide sound healing. This universally acknowledged method, improves physical plus emotional health, whilst providing healing, well-being, wisdom, heart, energy.

All events performed inside THE COAL LOADER , 2 Balls Head Drive, Waverton, NSW.
