BROTHER’S NEST : THE NEW FILM BY THE JACOBSON BROTHERS

Thanks to Label Sydney Arts Guide has 5 double in-season passes to giveaway to Clayton Jacobson’s darkly comic BROTHER’S NEST.

12 years after the phenomenal success of Kenny, director/actor Clayton Jacobson reunites with his brother Shane Jacobson in a very different film, yet just as quintessentially Australian and individual.

On a cold winter’s morning in the middle of country Victoria, two brothers arrive at the family home intent with treacherous intent. Terry and Jeff’s motive is to make sure their dying Mother’s plan to change her will in favour of her husband – their stepfather – is upturned. Their scheme is well planned, but there is one thing the boys didn’t take into account – having to spend an entire day together.

Old grudges, different world views and a general troubled history end up creating rifts between the two brothers.

BROTHERS’ NEST is a tragic comedy about family, loyalty and sibling rivalries – demonstrating that even ‘brotherly love’ has its limits.

BROTHER’S NEST opens nationally on June 21. To be eligible to win one of the five double passes to this great news Australian film please  editor.sydneyartsguide@gmail.com      with BROTHER’S NEST in the subject heading. Winners will be advised by return email.
