BREATH is the directorial debut of Simon Baker and ahead of the release in cinemas nationally on May 3rd, Roadshow will be holding an advance screening on Tuesday, 1st May at Event George Street.
Based on Tim Winton’s award-winning and international bestselling novel set in mid-70s coastal Australia, BREATH follows two teenage boys, Pikelet (Samson Coulter) and Loonie (Ben Spence), growing up in a remote corner of the Western Australian coast. Hungry for discovery, the pair form an unlikely friendship with Sando (Simon Baker), a mysterious older surfer and adventurer, who pushes the boys to take risks that will have a lasting and profound impact on their lives.
Directed and starring Simon Baker, the stellar cast also includes Elizabeth Debicki, Rachael Blake, Jacek Koman and Richard Roxburgh.
