Combining a love of fire with her love of good quality cabaret entertainment, Melbourne cabaret powerhouse Sophie deLightful returns to Sydney with a brand new show and a brand new bunch of babes!

BABES ABLAZE will set Marrickville’s Red Rattler on fire this April – but this ain’t no ordinary burn show. Every act will be giving you something a little different, fusing their existing skills with red-hot flames – expect pole dancing to bellydancing, and everything in between.

Hosted by Miss deLightful and featuring some of Sydney’s best fire performers, this will be a show like none you’ve ever seen before. This is the first in Sophie deLightful’s new fire cabaret series, BABES ABLAZE, and will continue in Melbourne in July. It is a unique and exciting concept, unlike anything else in the cabaret scene at present.

Sophie deLightful is classy yet brash, heavenly yet devilish, and all the time brimming with sparkles and glitter. In a world which judges all too quickly on swipe-left likeability, this cabaret singer and burlesque dancer aims to teach that you shouldn’t always judge a book by its dreadlocked cover.

Also an accomplished member of the world’s leading roller derby league and a lover of all things on fire, you can catch Miss deLightful skating the streets of Melbourne by day and eating flames by night.

Bringing a bit of extra sass and sparkle to the babes on stage, this cabaret starlet has specially crafted this show to seamlessly combine her powerhouse vocals with truly spectacular fusion fire acts.

Bioluminescence will bring a new, unique chemistry to the stage. Incorporating years of dance, fused with manipulating the primal power of fire. This charismatic Sydney-based duo will hypnotise, intrigue and excite any crowd with a beautiful and dynamic show. A combination of tribal, modern and traditional fire-spinning choreographed together to bring the whole audience into their world.
