AUSTRALIAN HADYN ENSEMBLE: ONE NIGHT ONLY AT THE JOAN

Australian Hadyn Ensemble .  Artistic Director, Skye McIntosh

The Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre is present, for one night only, the Australian Haydn Ensemble as part of The Summit – Richard Bonynge Fine Music Series.

Full of big sounds and virtuosic performances, the Australian Haydn Ensemble performs a vivacious program of Handel and Mozart arias from Agrippina, The Magic Flute and Marriage of Figaro – along with Haydn’s London Symphony in an historical chamber arrangement.

Featuring internationally acclaimed Canadian Soprano, Stefanie True and Australian Baritone Simon Lobelson, this concert will be a night to remember.

The Australian Haydn Ensemble has rapidly claimed a place among Australia’s finest orchestras and chamber music groups. Formed from a group of dedicated musicians with national and international experience, the ensemble specialises in the music of the classical era, performing on historical instruments under the leadership of Artistic Director, Skye McIntosh to deliver performances faithful to the sound-worlds that would have been familiar to Haydn and his contemporaries.

Dress up for an evening out – close your eyes and imagine for one moment you are in the concert halls of Europe in the heart of  Penrith at The Joan as fine music is turned up to 11 in a specially curated program of classical music like no other.

Australian Hadyn Ensemble [Facebook] will play The Joan For one concert only on Friday 20 April as part of  The Joan’s Fine Music series.
