Australian playwright Elizabeth Coleman’s 1993 play IT’S MY PARTY invites the audience into the world of the Patterson family at
n iconic symbol of early Sydney, the Rocks Windmill opens its doors to host a variety of events until 12th May.
Speaking at the opening on 12th April, the CEO of Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority Catherine Gallagher explained the Rocks was once full of windmills. These buildings not only served to supply grain, but were used as theatres and meeting places.
Under the excellent direction of Tom Sweeney this magnificent production comes to life. LES MISERABLES the musical has been going strong since 1985, now seen and loved by over 65 million people and most recently earlier this year with the Hugh Jackman/Russell Crowe/Anne Hathaway film version. (a new Melbourne production is coming later this year).
