Ninefold is mounting a return season of  WYRD: SEASON OF THE WITCH.  The Company invites audiences are invited to witness this “unmissable event”; a story of malevolent ambition and uncanny horror for a strictly limited season of only four shows.

WYRD: SEASON OF THE WITCH received its debut season in June and is returning this Halloween with new material that Ninefold believes “will make it a must see for both fresh and familiar faced audiences.”

This is Shakespeare’s Scottish play pulled apart and remade crisp, strange and contemporary. Wyrd sees a powerful warrior identified only as ‘Our Lady’ unleashing the malevolence of the Wyrd Ones upon the world in the hopes of satiating her burning ambition to be crowned. But all debts must be paid and Our Lady’s triumphs quickly decompose into a nefarious nightmare of Lynchian horror. The devil truly is in the detail of this tightly choreographed performance. Featuring Shakespeare’s original text cut from Macbeth, reordered and stitched back together with toe-tapping 50s pop songs, powerful choral speaking and high energy movement.

WYRD: SEASON OF THE WITCH [Facebook Event] from Ninefold [Facebook]  returns to PACT Theatre, Erskineville, through its support from atPACT Residency program, 31 October to 3 November 2018.  And you can read a review of the last incarnation of the show here and an interview with Victoria Greiner who plays ‘Our Lady’ here.

**PLEASE NOTE: Wyrd has a total lock out and latecomers will not be permitted to enter the theatre once the performance has started. Audiences are advised to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time.
