
The Victorian State Ballet will present ALADDIN, a dazzling ballet production at The Concourse Theatre, Chatswood on Friday 19 June and Saturday 20 June 2026.
Created by the company’s directors, Michelle Cassar de Sierra and Martin Sierra, ALADDIN reimagines one of the world’s most loved tales as a vibrant ballet, offering a magical live experience for audiences of all ages.
Rich in colour and movement, the production features striking costumes, evocative music, atmospheric lighting and engaging choreography that work together to bring the story to life.
Blending classical ballet with theatrical storytelling, ALADDIN highlights the skill and artistry of the Victorian State Ballet’s performers, while exploring timeless themes of honesty, courage and self-discovery.
From the grandeur of the palace to the intrigue of the magic lamp, each scene is designed to transport audiences into a world of adventure and imagination.
This production continues the Victorian State Ballet’s tradition of presenting accessible, high-quality ballet that appeals to both seasoned theatre-goers and families alike.
The performances will take place on Friday 19 June at 7.30pm and Saturday 20 June at 2pm and then again at 7.30pm at the Concourse Theatre, Chatswood.
