This is the 16th year of the Bondi Junction Global table being held. It was moved back one month later than usual to coincide with Harmony Week
This event had something for everyone. There were stalls lining the plaza area, selling food from a multitude of countries.You then had to turn around and eat your exotic dish at the elongated table.
There were other attractions to delight the visitors. At the Bondi Junction Westfield end there was a disc jockey, and at the other end there was a mini circus for the youngsters teaching spinning plates tricks, balancing a diabolo, with pelicans roaming in and out of the circus
All day they had the most fantastic bands which got everyone up and dancing, and when I was there, there were musicians from Columbia, Japanese drummers, and Thai dancing.
And most importantly of all, threatening thunderstorms stayed away.
The all day Global Day event took place on Saturday 21 March 2026.
