When a lay preacher arrives at a British settlement in 1830’s New Zealand, his violent past is drawn in to question and his faith put to the test as he find himself caught in the middle of a bloody war between Maori tribes.
This is the latest film by visionary New Zealand film director Lee Tamahori, the film has been described as a must see historical action drama and feature powerful descriptions of Maori culture.
