Currently in the Hintz Hall of the Australian Museum, this is in fact an exhibition originating in the South Australian Museum. For two decades this renowned exhibition has celebrated the impeccable artistry of some of the world’s best nature photographers and the astounding beauty and fragility of the world around us.
Some of these photos have been captured from remote landscapes in extreme conditions to a hidden nook in the suburbs.
The exhibition features over ninety photographs that shine a light on the astonishing array of flora, fauna and landscapes that can be found across the Australia, New Zealand and New Guinea bioregion.
This extraordinary region possesses a unique natural heritage that stretches back more than 80,000,000 years and is home to wildlife and environments unlike any other
The free exhibition runs till the 14th October 2024.
