The Sydney Jewish Festival is currently underway at the Bondi Bavilion.
The Festival’s opening night featured a fascinating discussion with Michaela Kalowski, well known as a broadcaster on Radio National, interviewing journalist and writer Dr Sarah Krasnostein most well known for her remarkable book, The Trauma Cleanser.
The main events will take place on Sunday with some interesting panel discussions such as Jewish Millennial Angst featuring panellists Dr Anna Jacobsen, Nadine J Cohen and Dr Roz Bellamy with Alice Moldovan-Hill, and The changing Face of Jewish Patriarchy with Rabbi DrAriel Burger, Jonathon Seidler and Michael Gawenda,
The Festival will end with FROM PAGE TO STAGE : THE EVOLUTION OF YENTL – A conversation with the creators and performers of the award winning Yiddish play. Also there will be the announcement of the Australian Jewish Book Awards.
