SYDNEY FRINGE: OTTO AND ASTRID@NORTH TENT VILLAGE GREEN

Above (l-r) Astrid and Otto present a riotous, rock n roll romp with original songs the Fringe Festival in the North Tent at Darling Quarter’s Village Green.

Let your hair right down over your punk-rock faux-German oufit with this Fringe and Spiegeltent headliner set of siblingen.

This is a raunchy, delicious  parody of punk rock, psychology, family and fetish with a tight visual and musical comedy bent from the master builder musicians also stars of music and comedy festivals who also perform as Die Roten Punkte.

Meet Astrid- hell-for-leder drummer with totally rockstar outfits and a consistently unapologetic, raunchy fixation with ‘das backdoor’

Meet  Astrid’s shy, endearing, Bulliedbrüder Otto- a multi-80’s instrumentalist, pussy-loving, mental health consumer and (up)tight musician. His penchant for vulnerable, sneaked songs with an awky-anthemic veneer.

This pair of orphans mix talkspots, talent, titillating all-holes-unbarred references in this O & A AO flavoured offering.

This is a direct, well-costumed and a wunderschönes show. It’s simple, simply excellent entertainment is ably paced and  delivered with white-faced shock-rock make-up that leaves a smile on the visage of any visitor to das salubrious atmosphere of The Village Green’s Darling Quarter North Tent.

Otto and Astrid play the Village Green Festival Garden -North Tent until Sep 15. Come join this fitting bischen of Festivalfeier!
