This nun has her knickers in a twist…somewhere but they are definitely not on her. This intimate trinity cabaret, comedy, clown award winning show is very forthcoming with the contradictory thoughts about sex whilst refraining from it!
From cleaning up her monastery to teaching everyone how to expel the devil in their mouth and between their hips at Youth Group, tonight, we are comically (re)educated on religious politics and the lords gifts of bread and wine.
Her contemplative downward turned smile smizes at the audience members that show her a stroke of interest in cleaning and prayer. Shuffling her way between the stalls “accidentally” grazing past you as she sets up Christs offering. “All are welcome” she announces, waiting presumptuously for those who would like to take part in Christ’s Holy Communion. Audience members take the opportunity to share their daily bread, very much pleasing this loyal Nun.
Claire Robin explores her life experiences growing up with religion to create her hilarious award winning one woman show, NUN SLUT.
Claire found her desire to perform from a young age now finding her performance style in live comedy expressing, “it took a while to find my clown”. Very inspired by the geniuses before her like Rowen Atkinson’s Mr Bean, Claire’s cabaret clown, is and nun-like any other show on your radar.
Globally recognised at her sell out Edinburgh Fringe performance she returns home to Sydney’s Fringe featuring musicians Joshua James Webb and James Watson on keyboard.
Claire’s debut solo show, NUN SLUT, left me feeling liberated and saved. Saved from regret of not attending and liberated from denying self expression!
With extra shows added to the Sydney Fringe Festival 2026 run, Claire Robin’s, NUN SLUT, is showing at The Rocks, Sydney. Produced for Sydney Fringe’s Fringe on the Rocks by Monstera Creative from September 23rd 2026 until October 11th 2026.
