When introducing his eighth production of GREASE producer John Frost praised the latest
Incarnation of the musical, as of all previous productions, this cast was closest in age to the characters in the musical. This gave it an added boost of energy and joyousness, starring Annelise Fall as Sandy and Joseph Spanti as the leather jacketed Danny Zuko.
The production also includes some beloved veterans Marsha Hines plays the Teen Angel followed by Patti Newton as Miss Lynch and Jay Laga’aia as Vince Fontaine together with a hugely talented supporting cast who attend the legendary Rydell High.
John Frost was looking for previous sets that he used in previous productions but could not find them. Therefore this production has a brand new set over which performers are choreographed to show off themselves and the ingenuity of the set designer James Browne.
A breath of fresh air, this production directed by Luke Joslin, GREASE is playing the Capitol Theatre until June 1 2024.
