simone neviani is hollywood bound

Simone Neviani

Having only migrated to Australia four years ago, learnt English and started his acting career from scratch… the young stage and screen star’s rise has been meteoric – to say the least. And with a slew of film roles on offer in LA, the sky appears to be the limit!

Coming from a conservative family – and growing up in a
small town in Italy where he could not express his creativity –
Simone Neviani decided in 2015 that it was time to ‘take a
leap of faith’. He moved to Australia and Redfern in Sydney’s
edgy inner city, spending over a year learning the language.

Then, (trading on his good looks and charm!) he instantly
managed to nab a slew of featured roles in popular TV shows
such as Soul Mates Season 2 and The Checkout.

With a new-found taste for performing and a window into
the Australian entertainment industry, he buckled down and
in 2016 began a two-year part-time acting course at the
Actor’s Pulse in Sydney. Throughout his study he continued
to gain experience in films and music videos, finally hitting
the live stage with his first English language roles in The Lady in The Barracks and Short+Sweet.

At the Short and Sweet festival  he stared in “Precipice” earned him rave reviews and a slot in the People’s Choice final. This year he also directed “200 Classic Hits” in Short+Sweet to equally great reviews.

More theatre roles followed including The Merchant of Venice for the Eastern Suburbs Theatre Company and, at the end of 2018, he finished his studies and joined the Sydney branch of the
prestigious international Anthony Meindl Acting Workshops for ongoing classes.

More stage and screen roles followed and in early 2019, Simone headed to the US to take intensive classes with
Margie Haber in Los Angeles and – with a coveted
scholarship – at the Atlantic Acting School in New York.

Since then there have been multiple roles in Australian
films and TV series and – now, most exciting – offers of
two roles in American TV shows and a supporting role
in a US feature film. Towards the end of this year he’s
filming Season 2 of A Troubled Town (Amazon).
Simone is even currently developing his own TV series.

Clearly, this is a talented young man on the move… and on the rise!
