There’s nothing like a big Hollywood premiere to bring the city centre to a standstill. This was the case with the Sydney premiere of BABYLON with Market Street blocked off.
Two of the stars of the movie, Margot Robbie and Diego Calva, were there accompanied by two of Australia’s celebrated actors, Phoebe Tonkin and Samara Weaving.
Margot, in particular, looked particularly relaxed and embraced with delight personal friends who were placed near the head of the Red Carpet. In addition, she and the aforementioned actors, as they strode across Market Street, signed autographs and had selfies taken.
In addition, invited guests, inside the foyer, were entertained by a band playing twenties and thirties music accompanied by flapper dancers.
After the pizazz, city traffic returned to normal.
