Helen Mirren brings Israel’s historic Prime Minister Golda Meir to vivid life – Israel’s first and only female head of government.  Golda is a ticking-clock thriller sharing the intensely dramatic events, high-stake responsibilities, and controversial decisions that Golda Meir – also known as the ‘Iron Lady of Israel’ – faced during the Yom Kippur War in 1973.  Her actions, in impossible circumstances, would ultimately decide the fate of millions of lives. 

As well as Helen Mirren the film also stars  Camille Cottin and Liev Schreiber.GOLDA opens nationally in cinemas on the 2nd May 2024.
