MOSMAN MUSICAL SOCIETY : JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOUR DREAMCOAT : GREAT FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT

This is a rousing revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s ever popular musical.

The creative team – director Julia Dance, choreographer Georgia Van Der Sman, great costume design by Susan Boyle, musical director Andrew Behan and production designer Alex Cotton- have  put together a show with good production values. Multi media images were projected on to the backstage which worked effectively to shift between the play’s different settings.

Strong performances by the principals – Tennessee Baz-Jeffrey, narrators Annette Vitetta Verges, Bela Rivas and Helen Cramp, Brendan Iddles as Pharaoh and Zebulon and Benjamin Sullivan as Jacob,Butler and Guard – backed by a big supporting cast, a great band and super cute little performers made this great family entertainment.

A night full of vibrancy, colour and some great show tunes, Mosman Musical Society’s production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOUR DREAMCOAT is playing the Zenith theatre corner McIntosh and Railway streets until Saturday 31 August. Remaining performances are Sunday 25 August at 4pm, Thursday 29 August at 7.30pm, Friday 30 August at 7.30pm and Saturday 31 August 2pm and 7.30pm.
