JERSEY BOYS COMMENCES REHEARSALS

JERSEY BOYS is returning to Sydney and the full Company commenced rehearsals on Monday 23rd July. JERSEY BOYS will open at the Capitol Theatre on the 6th September 2018 with preview performances commencing on the 29th August 2018. The internationally acclaimed hit musica; tells the true life story of four guys from the wrong side of town and the rise to stardom of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, one of the most successful bands in pop music history. The band sold more than 175 million records and were inducted into the Rock ‘N Roll Hall of Fame for their worldwide hits including Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, Walk Like A Man, Bye Bye Baby, Sherry and Big Girls Don’t Cry, which all feature in the musical.

After auditioning 450 artists nationwide, the successful cast members are a combination of exciting and emerging talent. Stepping into the illustrious shoes of  Frankie Valli is Bernard Angel. He will be joined by Cameron MacDonald as Tommy De Vito, Thomas McGuane as Bob Gaudio and Glaston Toft as Nick Massi.

This production has won  64 honours worldwide including the 2010 Helpmann Award, 2006 Tony Award, the Olivier Award, and the Grammy Award for Best Musical show album.
