Gavin Libotte ‘Wan derland’

This year’s HEAD ON PHOTO FESTIVAL, Australia’s major annual  photography festival, established in 2004, which opened on the 7th November is closing this Sunday.

The festival spotlights both emerging and established photographers, Australian and international, showcasing a wide range of photography stylws and themes.

The key venues where the photographs are being displayed are – along the beachfront promenade at Bondi Pavilion, a gallery exhibition inside the Pavilion, and an exhibition at Paddington Reservoir Gardens.

A total prize money pool of $80,000 was handed out to award winners. The festival is known for its commitment to fairness. Entries are judged blind – the artists’ names are left out, so the works are selected on merit alone.

Next year the HEAD ON PHOTO FESTIVAL will be exhibiting in Perth as well as in Sydney.
