Entries to the 2020 Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize are now open and close on Wednesday 18 March 2020.

The highest value art prize for female artists with a $35,000 Professional Artist Prize, as well as an Emerging Artist Prize of $5,000, the 2020 Art Prize includes a new category, the Ravenswood Australian Women’s Indigenous Emerging Artist Prize of $5,000, Australia’s only art prize dedicated to emerging indigenous female artists in Australia.

Established by Ravenswood School for Girls in 2017 to recognise, encourage and promote women in the visual arts, the Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize is proudly supported by Platinum Sponsor, Stockland.

Winners of the 2019 Art Prize were Joanna Braithwaite, Professional Artist category for her work Bold and the Beautiful and Chris Casali won the Emerging Artist Prize for her work Mutawintji Dreaming.

Winners of the 2020 Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize will be announced at the Opening Night on Friday 29 May 2020.
