Express the human heart. Begin at the beginning. Start with conception in the uterus. Add the ten thousand things that impact the human heart invitro. As well, all that, day-to-day, month-to-month, touches the mother’s heart carrying the foetus. And all that affects the developing child’s heart. Let’s not forget the multifarious ways that the foetus changes the mother. And how mother and baby mutually drive the birth experiences of each other. Next, incorporate how life unfolds the growing baby’s heart. Finally, include the myriad ways that the developing person’s heart unfolds life.
Result? DOUBLE BEAT. A metaphor for the journey of the human heart expressed through dance.
Vibrantly conceived. Vivaciously performed. Vividly staged.
