Craft participation in Australia has grown significantly in recent years, fuelled by pandemic lockdowns, social media and a renewed interest in handmade and sustainable hobbies. The trend shows no sign of slowing, with millions of Australians now regularly engaging in craft projects and the market continuing to expand: Hashtags like #aussiecraft, #australiancraft and #diycrafts have grown 30% across Instagram and TikTok.
