This deeply moving book reveals forgotten acts of bravery, while exploring how memory can both wound and heal. It also honours the extraordinary courage of Raoul Wallenberg and Carl Lutz and the many lesser-known individuals who risked everything to save Jewish lives.

About the author
Born in Budapest and raised in Bondi, Erica Frydenberg is a leading psychologist, academic and author of over 20 books and 150 research publications. She is a Principal Research Fellow and Associate Professor in Psychology (Honorary) at the University of Melbourne.
