Sasha Ivanovich

Sasha is one of the pioneering architects to introduce Sustainable Design principles in architectural design in the 1970s. He has been coordinator of the Murdoch University RISE (Research Institute for Sustainable Energy) Master Course in Sustainable Design and Innovation Management.

He has been the recipient on various Design Excellence Awards including the Australian Federal Government “Endeavour Executive Award for his research on MASDAR – World first Carbon Neutral City.

Principal of SIA Sasha Ivanovich Architects, past director SIA Architects Pty Ltd, FHSI Architects Pty Ltd and AURA Pty Ltd (Architectural & Urban Design Regional Alliance), with 40 years’ experience in master-planning, residential, civic and commercial projects.

SIA is an award winning practice that has been one of the pioneers in
sustainable design dating from the 1980s, with extensive architectural design and master planning expertise.
