Patrick Hobbs

Patrick Hobbs has always been an artist-in-waiting—though patience was never his strong suit. Trained in visual arts at St Martin’s School of Art and Sydney College of the Arts, he once swapped the studio for the stage during a brief stint as an alto with Voices from the Vacant Lot.

A lifelong learner, he’s also studied teaching, counselling, and psychology, which comes in handy in his role as a Learning and Support teacher at a busy Campbelltown high school.

Patrick spends his spare time at theatre, film screenings (especially psychological dramas and horror), art galleries, and live music. His vinyl-collecting habit once led to an entire stash being left on a train—yet his shelves remain crowded with books, DVDs, and the occasional record that “followed him home.”
