It’s the time of year for the Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes again. The competition for these much lauded Prizes has been as fierce as ever.
Congratulations goes to Matt Adnate who has won the Packing Room Prize 2024 for his portrait of Aria Award winning rapper, dancer, artist and actor Baker Boy.
Adnates portrait is one of 57 finalist works from 1005 entries received in this year’s Archibald Prize. It is the second time that the hugely talented Adnate has been an Archibald Prize finalist after his 2023 Realist painting of musician and former Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns.
