Each year the Melbourne-based, Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) brings together 70 of Australia’s finest graduate-level musicians for an intense program comprising lessons, classes, coaching, seminars, rehearsals and over 200 public concerts.
The training program includes industry partnerships with organisations such as the Sydney, Melbourne, West Australian and Tasmanian symphony orchestras, the Australian Chamber Orchestra, and Musica Viva.
As Richard Tognetti has observed “I can’t think of any other institution where the obsession is just music like this: it is life-changing, an extraordinary institution.” We warmly invite you, to our upcoming SYDNEY performance of ANAM SKETCHES from 3pm Sunday 7th September 2025.
Also hear the world premiere of Sydney-based composer Jane Sheldon’s Talking with herself alone for singing violist, part of ANAM’s celebrated ANAM Set project. The 2025 ANAM Set commissions, are supported by the Anthony and Sharon Lee Foundation.
ANAM SKETCHES 2025 is presented by the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) in partnership with the Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO).
