A LITTLE LIFE the 2015 worldwide bestseller written by American Author – Hanya Yanagihara – that 832 PAGE book contains the fictional history of the TriBeCa, New York City friendship of four men, spanning more than thirty years, and that divisive book has captivated and shocked many millions of readers. Four different occupations – disabled lawyer Jude St Francis, aspiring actor Willem Ragnarsson, struggling visual artist JB (Jean-Baptiste Marion), successful architect Malcolm Irvine. The play has non-linear storytelling with complete back-stories detailing the history of their friendship, as they develop their work careers in TriBeCa, New York City, where their success, pride, wealth, ambition, addiction, are the precise indicators of a fully successful life.

EXPECT – TRIGGER WARNINGS – four fictional hours that realistically/emotively include child abuse, child/adult sexual violence and rape, strong coarse language, graphic depictions of violence, sadness, brutality and misery, physical and emotional abuse, sudden death, unexpected suicide, male nudity, drugs and drug references, blood, cutting self-harm, burning-skin self-harm. The English Language première – WEST END LONDON production at the venue SAVOY THEATRE – mimics the October 2018 DUTCH LANGUAGE production (Een Klein Leven) by the Internationaal Theater Amsterdam (ITA-ENSEMBLE) at the venue – Amsterdam Stadsschouwburg PLUS the DUTCH LANGUAGE production (Een Klein Leven) by the Internationaal Theater Amsterdam (ITA-ENSEMBLE) during the Edinburgh International Festival 20-22 August 2022 at the venue – Festival Theatre, Edinburgh.
